I’ve been throwing on this and that over the past several days, trying to wrap my head around why I bother. I bother, I guess, because everyone has to play at some point or another. i’m not sure I can go much deeper into it than to explain that I like to play. I like doll houses and I like stylin my virtual representation of ego.
So there. That’s about it. And here she is in a hunt item that is looking way hipper than a lot of hunt looks can manage. Nice job Fabienne Bolissima Couture.

Not surprisingly, Japan Fashion Week has been canceled. Going by what Japanese designers were showing on the runway in Paris earlier this month, we wouldn’t prognosticate a bunch of nods to Japanese traditionalism, but there were a few hints of it, as well as obvious tips o’ the sugegasa to Japan’s biggest street style import of late, the Loli/Goth Loli sartorial obsession.
So here’s my homage to our buddies on the other side of the lake. And peeps, if you, like me, are always a little hesitant to spend perfectly good real money on pixels, just think of it as a drop in the bucket for a worthy cause.
It was gray and wintery and pissing rain today, but my iris tubers are sending up shoots. This look brings the floral festiveness of the warmer months, but acknowledges that it’s still gray and wintery and pissing down rain out there. The celebration is as yet muted. Let’s not get carried away.
Inspired by a shop that has no less than three cheongsams as group gifts, I pulled out the one I had scooped sometime over the holidays at Icing, nabbed the three at Likea Ruby, and played dress-up like nobody’s business.
Boots: Fools Fate – Leather Zipper in cream – 25L (Gacha machine; they’re like 600 or 700L regularly, so if you don’t mind the color crap shoot, just seeing what you get, go for a few pulls on the gacha lever)
There’s a butterfly hunt going down at Swayland these days. I saw this dress on another blog and thought, “Oh yes… I could do something with that, even if it is a little on the sweet side.” So off I went to chase butterflies.
It’s one of those hunts in which the goods aren’t delivered until you’ve accomplished your task, in this case, finding 20 lurking butterflies. It wasn’t the easiest thing I’ve ever done, but the sim was cool enough to make the job not too torturous. I’m digging the houses. The white house is so very south Louisiana creole.
